The renovations follow the sustainably oriented overall plan. In addition to the one- and two-room suites, communal areas will be created in the castle, to which the owners and their guests will have priority access. For yourself and your guests, you invest in a suite as well as a share of the communal areas.

On the side green areas along the driveway to the castle building, you will find the extensive orchard of the estate. In the midst of the fruit meadows, the old greenhouse will be rebuilt. Here, fresh herbs, salads, microgreens, and mushrooms are grown, which the residents can make use of. Naturally, the apple harvest is also available to the community.

The complex is maintained by the adjacent horticultural operation. The greenhouse is managed separately. If you enjoy gardening, you are warmly invited to contribute and, if necessary, further develop the idea of the community garden.

Nestled in the Pötenitz nature reserve and framed by the impressive coastal landscape between Priwall and Barendorf, the region offers a maritime setting. The heart of Schloss Pötenitz is the manor house, which you drive up to from the driveway. Here you find the shared representative rooms on the Belle-Etage. The “Convivium” in the Red Hall, inspired by the Latin term for “living together” and “enjoying,” creates an atmosphere of open and heartfelt togetherness and offers space for communal dining and socializing, cultural events, and large celebrations. The Convivium becomes the pulsating living space of Schloss Pötenitz.

In the adjacent rooms, you will find additional tastefully designed spaces for various experiences: In the White Hall, banquets, cultural salons, or small concerts can take place. The library or the Green Salon with its crackling fireplace invite you to read, relax, or engage in stimulating conversations. The wine room with its paneling or the historic billiard room offer further opportunities for a cozy togetherness.

A terrace and a winter garden create a connection between indoors and outdoors. They link the Belle-Etage with the surrounding nature.

In the historic vaulted cellar and the adjoining extension, a stylishly designed pool is created with a view of the castle park. A sauna, a yoga room, as well as rowing machines and a treadmill provide relaxation and fitness.

On the two upper floors of the manor house, 21 individual suites are being created, offering the ideal retreat. Precisely tailored to the needs of the members of the construction community, they range from the compact two-bed suite to the spacious suite accommodating up to six people. Each unit features its own comfortable bathroom and an attractively designed kitchenette. Together with our interior designers, retreat spaces for every taste are being developed.

In addition, in the historic stables at the estate there are 20 courtyard apartments, available to you and your guests as fully equipped holiday apartments.

The proceeds from renting out the suites and apartments outside of personal use will flow back to the future owners.
