This first-class bungalow was rented to holiday guests as part of a mixed-use model. In 2023, we had 99 occupancy days for guests.
Neukalen, with its harbor on the Peene River, is located in close proximity to Lake Kummerow. In the surrounding rural area, there are various attractive options that may be of interest to both guests and self-users of the holiday home. It can be rented to holiday guests on a mixed-use basis (not as a long-term rental).
The holiday home is part of a bungalow settlement. The entire complex consists of 33 properties.
The northern edge of the Mecklenburgische Schweiz forms part of the holiday region “Mecklenburg Lake District,” characterized by the Peene River and Lake Kummerow. An inner-city harbor with restaurants, boat rentals, a fishing jetty, a natural bathing beach, and a large playground is located approximately 2 km away. Additionally, there is a slipway about 1 km away, from which you can reach Lake Kummerow with another 1 km journey.
Neukalen has everything one needs for daily life in close proximity.
Technology and Infrastructure:
The house is heated by an air-to-air heat pump, which can also be used for cooling (2022). This is supplemented by a new electric fireplace and modern infrared heaters in the bedroom, kitchen, and living area.
All utility lines, water, electricity, floors, and ceilings have been renewed.
As part of the renovation, the bungalow received a new roof with insulation. The façade was also renovated and insulated.
Water and electricity connections are available. For wastewater, there is a large, drainage-free septic tank (7 m³, installed in 2022), making it possible to use the bungalow year-round.
Fiber optic cable is available at the property boundary, and a connection can be requested.
Property:
The property (privately owned land) is fenced, which was very convenient for us and some of our guests who are dog owners.
The garden shed was conveniently used, among other things, for storing bicycles.
Parking spaces are available nearby.
