Apartment in Prime Location in Berlin – Limited to 1.5–2 Years

We are offering a very beautiful, fully equipped apartment in a great location in Berlin Mitte for a fixed period (limited term). Due to family reasons, the apartment is to be rented for a strictly set period of at least 1.5 and at most 2 years. After that, we will most likely need the apartment again for our own purposes. Registration at the address is possible. You can decide for yourself whether you want to rent for about 18 months or 24 months – the rental period just has to be fixed right from the start.

The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the side wing of a well-maintained multi-family house. The rent includes the costs for (standard) heating, (normal consumption of cold and hot water, etc.); for electricity and internet, you will need to arrange your own contract. The apartment is not suitable for a shared flat – it is only intended for a couple or an individual.

Apartment Layout: You enter the apartment into a hallway from which the bathroom is accessed. At the end of the hallway, you reach the living/dining room. From this room, you can access both the small kitchenette and the bedroom.

The location of the apartment is excellent – in the absolute center of Berlin. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach Friedrichstr Station, from where public transport can quickly take you anywhere. The Reichstag and the Charité are only a few minutes’ walk away, as are supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants.

The apartment is largely furnished (including dishes, household appliances such as an iron, washing machine, ironing board, bed, wardrobe, an armchair, etc.). Essentially, only duvet covers, bed pillows, a table and a chair, and perhaps a television are missing.

As mentioned, we would like to rent the apartment for a limited period only due to family reasons. We are looking for an employed individual (or a couple) who can demonstrate a solid income and who lives in clearly well-ordered circumstances – for example, someone who is assigned to Berlin for a certain period for professional reasons. It is also conceivable to rent to a company that assigns an employee to Berlin – however, only if it is clear from the outset who will be residing in the apartment. We do not wish to rent to a shared flat or similar arrangements. The apartment is a non-smoking apartment (not even on the window sill, and no “vaping” etc.), and pets are also not welcome. A cellar is not available for rent.
