The characteristic log-house charm creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Our vacation houses, newly built in 2018 from solid log panels, are in the Alpine chalet style, each featuring a log-panel sauna and a fireplace, with both their appearance and technical features up to date. Each house is approximately 75 sqm in size, accommodating up to 5 people. The large panoramic windows face the adventure mountain (Bocksberg).

Our 6 log houses are 6 detached houses made of solid log panels. All houses are built on stilts, reminiscent of the traditional log houses in Austria and Switzerland – a unique feature throughout the Harz region. The interior design is almost identical except for the color scheme. Our log houses are furnished in a trendy mix of modern style while still maintaining a cozy atmosphere.

A comfortable living area with a fireplace as well as an open kitchen with a spacious dining area for 5 people ensure high comfort and moments of relaxation.

Our log houses are located directly on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz, right by the forest at the end of the village in a cul-de-sac. The area is very quiet yet still central. The heart of Hahnenklee is the Rathausstraße with its cable car, the adventure mountain “Bocksberg”, and numerous restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. The town center is only about 400 meters from our houses – close, but not noisy.

Hahnenklee is an ideal holiday spot for both young and old with many attractions and ample hiking opportunities. With an altitude of approximately 600 to 750 meters above sea level, the town is one of the snow-sure places in the Harz.

Thanks to numerous investments over the past years – this year and in the coming years – Hahnenklee is one of the largest tourist magnets in the Harz. This year alone, another summer and all-year-round toboggan run was opened, drawing even more visitors to Hahnenklee.

The overnight stays speak for themselves: In 2022, there were approximately 450,000, and in 2023 about 480,000 overnight stays.
