We are selling our farm because we feel drawn back to the city – not out of compulsion, but out of desire.

On the expansive property, three horses have been living until now together with goats and sheep on the large pasture with a shelter. In addition, there is a separate indoor enclosure with an adjacent outdoor area that is ideal for keeping additional animals – we had officially accommodated three raccoons here. Two additional stables provide space for chickens or other small animals.

The residential building has 250 m² of living space and is divided between the ground floor and the upper floor, each with its own bathroom. On the upper floor, there are also kitchen connections; however, the room is currently used as a bedroom.

The homestead is located in the idyllic village of Niebede near Nauen, nestled in a peaceful and natural environment, away from through traffic and everyday noise. The location is about 12 kilometers southwest of Nauen and around 10 kilometers northwest of Ketzin (both as the crow flies) and is distinguished by its rural tranquility and scenic beauty.

Niebede was founded as what is known as a Rondling – a circular settlement, a style typical for medieval village layouts in this region. The first documented mention of the village dates back to 1179 under the name “Nibeden”. This was in connection with the transfer of the tithe to the Brandenburg cathedral foundation. Historically, the village belonged to the Havelländischer Kreis of the Mittelmark within the Margraviate of Brandenburg. At the beginning of the 19th century, in 1801, Niebede was partly owned by noble landlords, while another part still belonged to the Brandenburg cathedral foundation. Following several administrative reforms, Niebede is now incorporated into the town of Nauen as a district of Wachow.

Although Niebede is connected to the public transport system only by a bus service, the traffic connections are nevertheless very favorable. Via the nearby federal highway B5, Berlin can be reached in about 30 minutes – usually stress-free and without major traffic jams. In addition, there are good train connections via the stations in Nauen and Wustermark, offering fast access to Berlin, Potsdam, and other regions.
