The city of Fürth is located in Bavarian Middle Franconia and, together with Nuremberg and Erlangen, is part of the economically strong Nuremberg metropolitan region. With over 132,000 inhabitants, it is the second-largest city in the administrative district. Particularly remarkable is its charming old town center, which, in contrast to many other cities, largely survived World War II unscathed and is now a popular destination for walks and cultural discoveries.
