This well-maintained single-family home in Frisian style (built in 1996) offers a total living area of approximately 200 m² and is situated on a large plot of 801 m². The property is characterized by its family-friendly location in an established residential area. The existing landscaping creates a pleasant living environment with a high degree of privacy. The accessory apartment is on the ground floor and can be reached from the street via a paved driveway with a ramp (or alternatively, steps). The Friesenerker is designed as a common entrance hall, from which two fully-fledged front doors lead to the respective living areas. In order to provide great-grandmother with a high level of quiet, the house has a cast concrete intermediate ceiling and the wall between the apartments is built twice as thick. The ground floor is constructed of sand-lime brick, which impressively demonstrates an exposed brickwork style. The accessory apartment consists of an entrance hall, corridor, kitchen, bedroom, living room and bathroom, and has a separate south-facing terrace to the garden accessed from the living room bay window. The bedroom and living room feature parquet flooring, while the rest is tiled. In 2011 a specialist company created an opening between the two apartments, meaning that currently the accessory apartment can be accessed both via its own front door and through a separate interior door.
The “family apartment” on the tiled upper floor includes a guest WC, a utility room with access to the double carport, a large country-style kitchen with access to the covered south terrace/garden, and a current “TV room.” The double carport, accessible via the utility room, has a brick-built shed on its front side, through which one can also access the covered terrace or the garden. In this shed, in easy reach and under control, are the Viessmann gas heater (installed in 2019) and the hot water storage tank, which is heated by both the gas heater and solar thermal panels on the roof.
On the upper floor there are four rooms and two bathrooms. One room has been used as the master bedroom with an en suite master bathroom and a walk-in closet. The other rooms have been used as children’s rooms or as a guest/office room. For the children, a separate bathroom with a shower and bathtub was built on the upper floor.
A folding staircase from the upper floor leads to the attic. The attic floor extends over the entire length of the house and is completely accessible.

Schenefeld, District of Steinburg, is located between the North and Baltic Seas. It takes about 40 minutes to Büsum/North Sea and approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Baltic Sea (for example, Timmendorfer Strand).
