Modern single-family house in Meiendorf available for a limited rental starting August 2023!

We are Vivian and Thimo Rahlff and we would like to rent out our beautiful single-family home for a limited period. The rental period is limited until July 2026.

The house is located in the Hamburg district of Meiendorf on a plot of about 1000 square meters. The living space of 180 square meters is spread over two levels with 8 rooms and is additionally fully basemented.

The house was built in 1949 and expanded in 1979. In 2012, the house underwent an extensive gut renovation – the roof was newly insulated, the electrical system was renewed, underfloor heating was installed, the two bathrooms on the upper floor were completely redesigned, and nearly all floor coverings, walls, and ceilings were replaced. The oil heating system was replaced last summer in 2022 by a new hybrid heating system (heat pump & gas).

The house is situated in a quiet Zone 30 in Meiendorf. The primary school Islandstraße is in the immediate vicinity, as well as the Deepenhorn district school and the Gymnasium Meiendorf. There are shopping opportunities in the new center of Meiendorf, as well as in Berne and Rahlstedt. The nearest bus stop is 400 meters away and takes you to Berne in 3 stops. From there, it’s a 23-minute ride to the main train station.

Upon entering the house through the front door, you will find a cloakroom on the left. Next is a bedroom/child’s room. Then you can either enter the living area through the kitchen or via the hallway (e.g., study room), which features a large window front opening onto the terrace and the almost private garden. The open living and dining area was redesigned in 2017 and a new, open, high-quality kitchen was installed. This gives the ground floor a very open and modern character.

Upstairs on the upper level, to the left are two guest or children’s rooms with their own shower bathroom. From there, you pass through a large dressing room into the highlight of the upper floor – the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom that features both a bathtub and a large rain shower. Adjacent to this is a bathroom with a WC and a large washbasin.
