We are planning the fittings in a timeless and high-quality style using durable materials. Living and sleeping areas will feature real wood parquet, for example, oiled oak with a 3 mm wear layer (selected after sampling).

Bathrooms, kitchens, storage rooms, and auxiliary spaces will feature tiled flooring (ranging from wooden beam ceilings up to a maximum tile size of 30 x 60 cm).

Skirting boards will be made of smooth-edged wooden profiles painted in white.

Heidehof is an inclusive and ecologically oriented housing project for around 50 people at different stages of life. It is being developed from a former farmstead on a plot of approximately 6,800 m² in Schönstadt near Marburg, a vibrant town with good connections. The project is managed by two female architects and a financial consultant, all with extensive experience and enthusiasm for various housing projects.

Approximately 30 apartments of different sizes will be created. The architectural planning is complete, a building permit has been issued, and the floor plans are finalized. Within the approved framework, limited individual adjustments are possible. The development of the common areas and the outdoor space also offers potential for further enhancement. Move-in is planned for the end of 2028.

The concept is geared toward families with children, couples, and singles—people who wish to live independently while also enjoying a supportive, respectful coexistence. Inclusion is a given at Heidehof, and diversity is explicitly welcomed. All residents live in their own apartments; community is considered a voluntary offering. There is room here for retreat, varying needs for closeness, individual lifestyles, as well as for encounter, exchange, and active participation.

The foundation of communal living is openness, a willingness to engage in dialogue, and mutual appreciation.
