The first time we walked down the steps from Bleicherwall into Bleicherstraße – a quick glance around the corner… here live the dwarfs!!!!

We once “flipped” the dwarf house – as my site manager used to say. Everything was made new, please – except for the exterior and the load-bearing walls, everything was renovated. Only the exterior still needs the care and ingenuity of the new residents.

Now the dwarf house has grown up – a feel-good place, a place to stay.

The house can be accessed both directly from the old town (Bleicherstraße) and from the south (Bleicherwall).

The house has two floors.

On the ground floor there is a living room, a kitchen, and a shower room with a level shower. A former conservatory was integrated into the living room during the renovation; a portion of a wall was kept in place and can now be used as a bench.

Upstairs is the bedroom with a walk-in closet.

In addition to the large bedroom, there is a guest or children’s room and a toilet on the upper floor, which, like the shower room on the ground floor, has a window.

Barth is a small town in the Vorpommern-Rügen district of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Barth is a state-recognized health resort located at the doorstep of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula and lies on the southern shore of the Barther Bodden. Just a few kilometers away are the famous Baltic Sea beaches of Zingst and Prerow. All around the wine town of Barth stretches an excellently developed network of bicycle paths along the West Pomeranian Bodden coast as well as several idyllic nature trails in the direction of Darß.

The town of Barth enjoys excellent public transport connections by train and bus. Barth station is the central hub. From there, the Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB) runs to Velgast (with connections to IC and RB), while the VVR bus lines (including line 210) connect the surrounding region as well as the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.

The house was built on the old town wall of Barth.

A REWE supermarket is located in the immediate vicinity, as well as the harbor and the marketplace.
