Qualified care of the residential complex by AWO – Augsburg with an in-house care office. A 24-hour emergency call system is available in the apartment. Care in your own apartment up to Care Level II is possible.

In addition to your apartment, a large communal room on the ground floor is available for festive occasions, events, and coffee get-togethers. At the entrance, there is a caregiver’s office. You can download the exposé with a detailed property description as a PDF.

Just behind your terrace, there is a small private garden area enclosed by a beech hedge. In a raised bed, you can plant something if you wish, although it is not mandatory – the hedge and the lawn will be mowed for you. This way, you still have a small, intimate outdoor space just for yourself.

Besides the prime location and a short connection to the city center, this new residential area offers a beautifully landscaped park with quiet oases for relaxation. Furthermore, the diverse and popular neighborhood features shopping facilities and cafés in the vicinity.

All living spaces are fitted with parquet floors and wide interior doors. Large windows with electric roller shutters ensure bright rooms with pleasant views outside. Each apartment is equipped with controlled ventilation for fresh air and, along with underfloor heating, helps keep heating costs low. The entire complex is being built as a KfW Efficiency House 70 (according to EnEV 2009). The bathrooms feature spacious walk-in showers and offer room for a washing machine and dryer.

All apartments are designed to be senior-friendly, ensuring threshold-free and barrier-free living.

In our assisted living complex in Sheridan Park, the “AWONIA Gesellschaft für Wohnen und Pflege im Alter mbH” will take charge of caring for the residents. AWO is a recognized non-profit organization and, as a subsidiary of Arbeiterwohlfahrt, operates the senior center “Christian-Dierig-Haus” in Augsburg-Pfersee on Kirchbergstraße. This ensures that the available resources can be optimally utilized for all residents. In our project, AWO also operates a centrally located care office staffed at fixed times. A qualified, permanent contact person with training in social care will be happy to offer advice and support.

As part of the basic services and the monthly care fee, your caregiver provides, for example, the following support: a 24-hour emergency call standby; a designated contact person with fixed consultation hours on site; assistance with administrative matters; coordination and organization of help (e.g., foot care, physiotherapy, hairdressing, laundry, apartment cleaning, shopping, medication, etc.); an apartment key storage service; and the organization of assistance in case of illness and upon discharge from the hospital. The monthly care fee for a one-person household amounts to €112. This fee includes on-call service and the home emergency call system, including equipment rental.

The caregiver is also responsible for mediating, coordinating, and arranging the following optional services provided by AWO:

• Home nursing and elderly care

• Administration of medication

• Household management

• Securing a day care place at the Christian-Dierig-Haus

AWO ensures that all owners and tenants of our assisted living complex receive preferential admission to the residential care available at the senior home “Christian-Dierig-Haus” located in Augsburg-Pfersee on Kirchbergstraße.
