“Freiraumquadrat” offers you flexibly bookable spaces that have been designed with interior architectural expertise yet remain free from passing trends. Each space stands on its own, is unique, and has its own effect. Modern furniture harmonizes with antique pieces. Most items feature softly flowing, organically gentle shapes. Color and light also play an important role, as they not only move us emotionally through visual perception but also directly affect our nervous system. The earthy wall colors are present yet not intrusive, harmonizing with the hues of the furnishings. The lighting in the spaces isn’t solely for functionality—it creates atmosphere. The result is a feel‐good space exuding security and calm. A free space amidst the squares for your ideas, your conversations.

The spaces are intended as a flexible (interim) solution. For example, if you wish to build a client base before investing in your own space, or if you only have sporadic needs.

- Also ideal for workgroups, project groups, study groups, or smaller seminars/training events

- Smaller yoga groups or postnatal courses (in the “Morgennebel” room) are also conceivable

Doing something different? Just inquire—I’m curious about your ideas! It’s important that it stays quiet (so no drum therapy or similar).

How does it work?

A space usage agreement is signed for the use of the rooms. The spaces can then be booked online according to need and availability—spontaneously or weeks in advance. A room tailored to your wishes, without any fixed commitment, acquisition costs, high ongoing expenses, or risks.

All spaces are available from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 22:00 (closed on Wednesdays from 9:15 to 14:15) and on Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 and 22:00.

The spaces are located in Mannheimer Quadrat C2 20, on the second floor of a late neoclassical city mansion built around 1850, featuring a beautiful staircase with shallow, very comfortable steps (no elevator).

The Paradeplatz is practically right around the corner (approx. 200 m). It’s a 16-minute walk (1.3 km) to the main station, or you can walk 300 meters to the tram stop and then be at the main station in 3 minutes.

Parking is easily available in the four surrounding parking garages C1, D5, D3, and Kaufhof (a 1–3 minute walk). On-street parking is also available with a parking ticket.

The meeting rooms are equipped with several seating options (armchairs, sofas, chairs), side tables, a table or desk, carpet, curtains, indirect lighting, a clock, a wool blanket, various decorative objects, and coat hooks. The “Morgennebel” room additionally features three wall-mounted whiteboards (each measuring 80 x 110 cm); for its group setting furnishings, stackable chairs will be provided. For the other two rooms, mobile whiteboards are available. In the waiting area, there are several seating options and a small selection of reading materials.

In the tea kitchen you’ll find glasses, cups, coasters, plates, bowls, cutlery, and a kettle. Wi‑Fi is available. Please note that there is no telephone or water connection in the bookable rooms.
