Modern single-family home in Meiendorf available for a limited lease from August 2023!

We are Vivian and Thimo Rahlff, and we would like to rent out our beautiful single-family home on a fixed-term basis. The rental period is limited until July 2026.

The house is located in the Hamburg district of Meiendorf on a plot of approximately 1,000 square meters. The living area of 180 square meters is spread over two floors with 8 rooms and also features a full basement.

The house was built in 1949 and extended in 1979. In 2012, it underwent an extensive gut renovation – the roof was newly insulated, the electrical system was renewed, underfloor heating was installed, the two bathrooms on the upper floor were completely redesigned, and almost all of the floor coverings, walls, and ceilings were replaced. Last summer, in 2022, the oil heating system was replaced with a new hybrid heating system (heat pump & gas).

The house is situated in a quiet 30 km/h zone in Meiendorf. The Islandstrasse primary school is in the immediate vicinity, as are the Deepenhorn district school and the Meiendorf high school. There are shopping opportunities in the new center of Meiendorf, as well as in Berne and in Rahlstedt. The nearest bus stop is 400 meters away and takes you to Berne in 3 stops. From there, it is a 23-minute trip to the main train station.

Upon entering the house through the front door, a cloakroom is immediately to the left. Next to it is a bedroom/children’s room. Afterwards, you enter the living area either through the kitchen or through a connecting room (e.g. a study), which boasts a large window front facing the terrace and the hardly visible garden. The open living and dining area was redesigned in 2017, and a new open and high-quality kitchen was installed, giving the ground floor a very open and modern character.

Climbing the stairs to the upper floor, on the left you will find two guest or children's rooms with their own shower room. Continuing through a large dressing room, you reach the highlight of the upper level – the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom featuring both a bathtub and a large rain shower. Adjacent to this is a bathroom with a toilet and a large washbasin.

In the cloakroom, there is a chest of drawers, clothes rails, and a sofa. On the upper floor, the rooms include two beds, and the walk-in closet is set up for your clothing.
