The city of Fürth is located in Bavaria’s Middle Franconia and, together with Nuremberg and Erlangen, forms part of the economically strong Nuremberg metropolitan region. With over 132,000 residents, it is the second-largest city in the administrative region. Particularly notable is the charming old town, which, unlike many other cities, largely escaped the ravages of World War II and is today a popular destination for walks and cultural discoveries.
