Your gender doesn't matter, but you should be tidy, communicative, and most importantly, open-minded. Living in a shared flat (WG) is a plus, though not a requirement.

The room is rectangular and furnished. It comes with a bed, mattress, desk, desk chair, wardrobe, and a TV (a smart TV without cable connection). The room is bright and cheerful. The floor is laid with real wood parquet.

The apartment is on the 4th floor and was renovated last year. The bathroom is tiled and features a spacious shower, sink, toilet, towel radiator, and a mirror. These are shared among all the roommates.

For WG evenings and the occasional cold drink, we use the small dining nook in the kitchen or the balcony attached to the kitchen. The apartment also has a modern fitted kitchen with good equipment.

We have a small storage room where a washer-dryer machine is located. Above our apartment, in a communal room for the entire building, laundry lines are strung up for drying clothes. In the basement, besides a small compartment for all sorts of stuff, there is a communal washing machine and dryer that operate with tokens (2€ each).

Deisenhofener Straße is located in the heart of Obergiesing – a lively and traditional neighborhood in the southeast of Munich. Just around the corner, you'll find a colorful variety of bars and cafés. If you want to enjoy some green space, smaller parks are within easy walking distance, and with a bike, you'll be at the Isar river in no time.

A significant advantage of the location is the excellent public transportation connection. Just a few steps away is the Untersbergstraße U-Bahn station (U2, with transfers to U7, U8). From here, you can directly reach the city center, the main train station, as well as the LMU and TUM locations. Similarly, in the other direction, the Giesing station (S3, S7) is not far away, offering fast connections to the surrounding areas. Several bus and tram lines in the immediate vicinity further round off the excellent accessibility.

For daily needs, everything is available in the immediate surroundings. Along Deisenhofener Straße, you'll find supermarkets, bakeries, and drugstores all within easy walking distance – including a Netto right at the doorstep. A diverse selection of snack bars, cozy cafés, and traditional Bavarian taverns ensures culinary variety.

Living in the shared flat:

We are an open-minded four-person flat share, consisting of one man and one woman, all originally from NRW. We go out, hike together, and make excursions.

We are highly communicative and not just a functional flat share, but we also respect it when someone needs their quiet time.

Flo (25, the guy with the beard and the dartboard) is a sports journalist at the Ippen Media Group. When he’s not working, he usually hangs out in his room, listens to music (with headphones), or plays darts. A total homebody? Not at all. Flo is always up for a shared beer, spends a lot of time in the kitchen, goes for walks, and hikes. We also regularly meet in his room to play darts.

Sophie (19, the life of the party) brings the female energy to our flat share. She is doing her voluntary social year (BFD), and in her spare time, she enjoys partying and is always up for group activities. Sophie is usually around, keeping you up to date with the latest gossip and plenty of entertaining stories. She is adventurous and sure to bring a smile or two.
