Bad Bevensen – A Paradise of Relaxation and Connection with Nature
In the very heart of the Lüneburg Heath lies a small, yet truly precious gem of northern Germany: Bad Bevensen. This spa town, gently nestled in the idyllic landscape of Lower Saxony, is a place where the hustle and bustle of everyday life is gently set aside, inviting the soul to breathe deeply. Here, time seems to flow a bit slower, the air a bit purer, and the smiles of the people a little warmer.
The jewel of the town – the iodine saltwater thermal bath – is renowned far beyond the region. Upon stepping into the warm basins of the thermal bath, one is enveloped by a palpable sense of lightness. The healing water, enriched with valuable minerals, not only helps the body to relax but also allows the mind to let go and reflect. A visit to the thermal bath is like a journey to yourself – everything here is designed to promote harmony and well-being. The lovingly designed sauna areas, the soft colors, and the gentle sound of the water create an oasis of calm that is rarely found in such quality.
But Bad Bevensen has much more to offer than just its thermal bath. The expansive spa park, which stretches through the center of town, invites you on relaxing walks. In spring, the park blossoms into a magnificent array of colors and showcases a variety of plants that will amaze any nature lover. Here, you can immediately feel the healing power of nature: the fresh air fills your lungs, the gentle murmur of the streams soothes the mind, and the rustling of the leaves seems like a soft song of nature. And for those seeking a more intense encounter with nature, the Kneipp barefoot path offers an experience that refreshes both body and senses.
There are also several hidden gems to discover in the vicinity of Bad Bevensen. The Lüneburg Heath, stretching out in gentle waves and vast, lilac carpets of heather, invites you to long hikes and bike rides. In the late summer months, when the heath is in full bloom, the landscape is bathed in a unique sea of colors that is almost magical. Here, hikers and nature lovers find an almost untouched world full of quiet beauty, evoking a sense of humility and gratitude.
Not far from Bad Bevensen lies the old Hanseatic town of Lüneburg, a place full of history and culture. Lüneburg’s old town is a work of art in itself: the characteristic brick Gothic architecture, the winding alleys, and the charming little cafés invite you to spend a day full of discoveries. Here, you can feel the pulse of bygone times while continuously being surprised by the liveliness that the city exudes.
The cozy living room with its dining area and open fireplace invites you to linger. There is a spacious terrace, and a guest WC is also available.
On the first floor there are 3 rooms with new carpet flooring and a large shower bathroom. However, note that due to the sloping ceilings, the room height is approximately 2.30 m.
The apartment is preferably to be rented to a married couple or to a senior co-housing group. However, a family with a maximum of 2 children is also welcome.
No broker’s fee will be charged!
The new dishwasher (€650), 5 ceiling lamps, the blind in the guest WC, and the neutral gray curtains in the living room and hallway can be purchased by the tenant for €1,000.
Dog ownership is not permitted.
Within the heating cost prepayment of €210, there is an electricity cost advance of €50. There is a separate meter for this. This amount of €210 is not paid to the landlord but to an energy supplier of your choice.
The wiring and connection sockets for Internet and cable TV are present in the apartment. You are free to choose your provider. A fiber-optic connection provided by Lünecom is available in the building and can be activated at will.
The rent will be adjusted annually by 2.5% (the average inflation rate) in a graduated rent contract. This means that you will not face an additional net rent increase during the entire term of the contract.
