Our 6 block-log houses are 6 individual houses made of solid block logs. All houses are elevated on stilts, reminiscent of the traditional block houses found in Austria and Switzerland. This is a unique feature in the entire Harz region. With the exception of the color scheme, the furnishings are almost identical. Our block-log houses are furnished in a trendy mix of styles that is modern yet cozy.

Living/Dining area per house:

A comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove, as well as an open kitchen with a spacious dining area for 5 people, ensure high comfort and moments of relaxation.

Our block-log houses are located directly on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz, right by the forest at the end of the village in a cul-de-sac. They are very quiet yet still centrally located.

The focal point in Hahnenklee is Rathausstraße with the cable car, the adventure mountain "Bocksberg" as well as the many restaurants, shops, and the supermarket. The town center is only about 400 meters from our houses – close but not noisy.
