Our holiday homes, newly built in 2018 from solid log beams, are designed in the Alpine chalet style – each equipped with a log-beam sauna and a stove, and both visually and technically up to date. The houses are approximately 75 m² each, accommodating up to 6 people. The large panoramic windows face the adventure mountain (Bocksberg).

Our 6 log houses consist of 6 individual homes made from solid log beams. All houses stand on stilts, just like the traditional log houses in Austria and Switzerland – a unique feature in the entire Harz. The furnishings are almost identical, apart from the color scheme.

Our log houses feature a trendy mix of modern and cozy décor.

Living/Dining Area per Log House:

A comfortable living area with a stove, together with an open kitchen featuring a spacious dining area for 5 people, guarantees high comfort and moments of relaxation.

Our block log houses are situated directly on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz – right next to the forest at the end of the village, in a cul-de-sac. They are very quiet, yet centrally located.

The focal point in Hahnenklee is Rathausstraße with its cable car, the adventure mountain "Bocksberg," as well as the numerous restaurants, shops, and supermarket. The town center is only about 400 meters away from our houses – close by but not noisy.

Hahnenklee is “THE” holiday destination in the Harz!

It is an ideal vacation spot for both young and old, with many attractions and numerous hiking opportunities.

Thanks to its altitude of about 600 to 750 meters above sea level, it is one of the most snow-secure locations in the Harz.

With numerous investments made in recent years – this year and in the coming years – Hahnenklee is becoming one of the biggest tourist magnets in the Harz. Just this year, another summer (or year-round) luge run has been inaugurated, drawing even more guests to Hahnenklee.

The overnight stays speak for themselves: in 2022, Hahnenklee had approximately 450,000 overnight stays, and in 2023 about 480,000.
