We are renting out two rooms of a renovated pre-war apartment on the third floor of the side wing. 63.7 m², two large rooms, a new kitchen with dining area, and a new bathroom. It’s a small, quiet two-person shared apartment – not a large communal flat share.

The apartment has what is rarely found in Berlin in this combination: original wooden floorboards in both rooms, high ceilings, arched windows, and in one of the rooms a preserved stucco ceiling. This isn’t a superficially spruced-up standard; it's genuine old building charm, carefully refurbished.

Both rooms are fully furnished – you can move in with just a suitcase. Being located in the side wing means: no street noise, a view of greenery, and yet you’re only two minutes away from the U7.

Mierendorffplatz is located on Mierendorffinsel in Charlottenburg, between the Spree and the Westhafen Canal. It forms its own little neighborhood: quiet, green, with old trees on the square, and yet directly adjacent to City West.

U7 at Mierendorffplatz is right on the square, a two-minute walk away without any transfers,

direct connection to Wilmersdorfer Straße, and further on towards Adenauerplatz and Kurfürstendamm,

transfer to the U2 at Bismarckstraße: Ernst-Reuter-Platz (TU Berlin, UdK) and Zoo Station in just a few minutes,

Jungfernheide Station with S-Bahn ring, regional trains, and U7, from there directly to the main station and BER,

Supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, drugstores, doctors, and cafés all around the square, plus the weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday.

Charlottenburg Palace with its palace garden, the Spree riverside paths, and Volkspark Jungfernheide with its swimming lake.

Room 2 (805 € total including heating, electricity, and internet)

Approximately 16 m², two high arched windows overlooking the green courtyard and a preserved, originally colored stucco ceiling from which hangs the basket pendant lamp. The wooden floor has been refurbished, and the walls are painted in a calm shade of grey.

This room is fully furnished:

• Height-adjustable desk with a padded swivel chair – a true workstation

• Large wardrobe

• Carpet, pendant lamp, pictures, plants

Room 1 (859 € total including heating, electricity, and internet)

Your room is the largest in the apartment: approximately 20 m², high ceiling, refurbished wooden floorboards, and whitewashed walls, bright and quiet facing the courtyard.

This room is also fully furnished:

• Boxspring bed 140 × 200 with a new mattress

• Height-adjustable desk with a padded swivel chair

• Three-door wardrobe

• Wall mirror, carpet, pendant lamp, pictures

The rent (gross cold rent) per room is as follows: 695 € for Room 2 and 749 € for Room 1. This price includes full furnishing, shared use of the kitchen, bathroom, and hallway, as well as all operating costs (water, garbage collection, house cleaning, property tax, and insurances). For these items, there is no prepayment or additional expense settlement; you pay the same amount each month.

Additionally, only electricity and gas are extra. The apartment has its own gas condensing boiler for heating and hot water, as well as its own electricity meter. For the entire apartment, we estimate about 160 € for gas and 60 € for electricity per month, which means a prepayment of 110 € per person.
