Hey! I’m Jonas, 26, and I’m renting out the large room in my bright top-floor apartment in Charlottenburg. You would be sharing the apartment with me. Only this room is for rent; I live in the other one.

Good to know: The room is intended as a temporary solution and will initially be rented out for up to six months. We can discuss in good time whether an extension is possible. It’s ideal if you’re new to Berlin, doing an internship or project, or looking for your own apartment without being rushed.

The room:

- approx. 26 m² including the terrace (room approx. 22 m² + terrace approx. 8.7 m², half of which is included in the stated floor area)

- furnished with a bed, desk and chair, and an armchair—you can move in with just a suitcase

- very bright, with a large window frontage

- direct access to the west-facing terrace—perfect for watching sunsets over the rooftops

- easy-care tiled floor

The apartment: Approx. 67 m², on the top floor (6th floor) with an elevator, built in 1998. Shared kitchen with all appliances, a dining area, and its own balcony. Bathroom with a bathtub and window, plus a washing machine. District heating, basement storage unit, and Wi-Fi included.

About me: I’m 26, run my own real estate company, and work a lot. I’m very quiet at home: no parties, non-smoker, tidy, and easy-going. I’m looking for a quiet, reliable non-smoker who also values a clean and peaceful home.

Centrally located in Charlottenburg, right by the Schiller Theater and just a few minutes’ walk from Ernst-Reuter-Platz (U2) and Deutsche Oper. Wilmersdorfer Straße, with its supermarkets and shops, as well as Kurfürstendamm, TU Berlin, and UdK, are all within easy reach. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, with excellent subway and bus connections.

The room is furnished with a bed, desk and chair, and an armchair. Shared use of the fitted kitchen and dining area, kitchen balcony, bathroom with bathtub and window, washing machine, and hallway. Elevator, basement storage unit, Wi-Fi, and district heating.

Optional: Underground parking space in the building, with a garage door and access via an electronic transponder—€149 per month, only if required.

Costs: €850 per month including utilities (€680 base rent + €170 service charges including heating), furnished. Security deposit: two months’ all-inclusive rent (€1,700), payable upon signing the contract—of course, only after an in-person viewing. Available immediately, initially for up to six months.
