Our residence is located in Elberfeld—a quiet area near the city, a little north above the Elberfeld Town Hall. With its decorated façades and inner courtyards from the Gründerzeit, it is especially popular with artists and students. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the city center and roughly 20 minutes to the train station. If you need to reach the university, a bus stops at the cafeteria stop on Max-Horkheimer Strasse. The Bayer AG pharmaceutical research center can be reached in 15 minutes by bus on line 613 without any transfers, and the Bayer plant on Friedrich-Ebert Straße is conveniently accessible via the Wuppertal Suspension Railway. The St. Josef hospital on Bergstraße and the Agaplesion Bethesda on Hainstraße are both only a few minutes’ walk away.

On pleasant days it’s especially worthwhile to head to the Nordbahntrasse, which is ideal for walking, jogging, inline skating, or cycling. There’s an almost 23‑km long, nearly flat foot- and cycle path—a rarity in Wuppertal—that greatly enhances the appeal of this location. Access for cyclists and pedestrians is available at Mirker train station and at Unterer Dorrenberg.

A beautiful, cozy bathroom with a bathtub and a window. It comes with a halogen mirror and a washing machine.

Kitchen:

A foldable table with two space‑saving chairs is provided alongside a fitted kitchen equipped with a new 45‑cm dishwasher, an oven/ceramic hob, a fridge‑freezer combination, a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster, and a kettle. There is an ample supply of dishes, glasses, cutlery, and all the necessary kitchen accessories. Additionally, the entrance area includes a hallway with a wardrobe.

The rent for this cozy attic apartment is €725 per month, including operating costs and WiFi. Your consumption costs for heating, water, and electricity are included in the rent with an advance payment of €90. A security deposit of €1,600 is required upon signing the contract.
