Waldkirch, with its picturesque downtown, is a large district town located about 16 km northeast of Freiburg and 10 km from Emmendingen. The monthly service fee for a single-person household currently amounts to €107.50. If the emergency call service costs are partially covered by the nursing care insurance, the monthly service fee is reduced to €80.50.
