Grieskirchen Oberösterreich 4710Public transport 1 minute of walking • Lift • ParkingLandschloss Parz is one of the most significant Renaissance castles in Upper Austria and was built in the 16th century.
For our 148 m² apartment on the first floor, we are looking for reliable and quiet tenants for long-term rental, available immediately. The apartment has been comprehensively and expertly restored and updated to the latest technical standards. It features two large, high, light-filled rooms with south-facing windows and one bedroom, also with south-facing windows. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, an illuminated mirror cabinet, towel radiators, and underfloor heating. The toilet is separate. The spacious kitchen has an induction stove with an oven and plenty of space for a dining table. The apartment also comes with a secured basement storage compartment as well as a parking space.
The apartment is located in a very well-maintained castle in a desirable, quiet location. The town center of Grieskirchen, numerous shops, a pharmacy, and doctors can be reached within a few minutes.
The connections are perfect. The train station is just a few minutes away, from where various bus lines operate as well as the train to Vienna via Wels or to Munich via Passau.
All windows offer a view directly into the well-tended Renaissance garden and to the apple trees. Access to the apartment is via an elevator or the staircase in the tower up to the first floor and through the representative arcade.
Many leisure opportunities such as hiking, biking, etc. are practically at your doorstep. Various golf clubs are not far away. In all rooms, restored historic parquet flooring has been installed, and in the bathroom, large-format tiles in the appearance of red marble "Rosso di Verona" with underfloor heating enhance the space.
The ceilings in the rooms feature stucco cornices. Particularly splendid is the historic stucco in the living room ceiling, the decorative tiled stove, and the original room doors dating from the Baroque era. We heat in an environmentally friendly way, using rural energy via district heating.
The first mention of Schloss Parz dates back to around 1340. In 1514, the Landschloss was constructed in its present form. The famous frescoes on the garden facade of Landschloss Parz date from around 1580 and are considered both artistically and iconographically a masterpiece of Austrian and Southern German Renaissance art.
Today, the castle offers the highest quality for an exclusive living experience in a historic context.
