At the edge of the small town of Selters in the Westerwald, the new development area "Am Sonnenbach" offers a total of 55 building plots ranging from 190 to 690 square meters in size. Rainwater Retention

In order to be as climate-neutral as possible, surface water is channeled via an additional drainage system into the Sonnenbach. The rainwater is intended to remain on the surface for as long as possible. Each builder must contractually provide their own rainwater retention system with a capacity to store six cubic meters of water.

As a small town, Selters offers daycare, kindergartens, an after-school care center, an elementary school and integrated comprehensive school, a city library, senior facilities, a hospital, many shopping opportunities, and an above-average number of jobs. The weekly market, cultural offerings, and neighborhood management are considered special features. The A3 between Cologne and Frankfurt and the A45 can be reached quickly, as can the ICE station in Montabaur. Selters itself is located in a rural setting with plenty of forests.
