At the initial move-in in August 2016, I re-furnished the new apartment—and I am leaving the furniture in the apartment. In August 2026, I had a decentralized ventilation system installed.

The WRG unit ensures a moisture balance and a pleasant microclimate through its controllable air exchange. This means the heat pump only needs to supply 19% of the heat. This also means that my wife was seriously ill and the apartment was always maintained at 25°C. We never paid more than €500 for hot water and heating. The bottom line: With the decentralized ventilation system, the heating costs will be below €100 per year. Subsequently, the apartment was completely repainted.
