Assisted living is the ideal solution to enable seniors to lead an independent life with the necessary support. A professional nursing service is available to offer advice and hands-on assistance whenever required. Our modern and spacious apartments are part of the new residential complex Im lmenautal in Bad Bevensen.

Within the formerly comprehensively refurbished hotel there are a total of 18 one- or two-room apartments, with sizes of up to 55 m². Each apartment has a kitchenette equipped with a double stove top, a sink, storage options, and a refrigerator. Additionally, each apartment features a bathroom with a modern, barrier-free shower. For relaxing in the fresh air, each apartment offers either a balcony, a terrace, or a roof terrace, which can be conveniently accessed from the living area. In the basement, in addition to the laundry room, there are spacious storage rooms that can easily be reached via the elevator. In the dining area and the adjacent sun terrace, visitors can be received, or joint activities can be held. Directly in front of the building there are five car parking spaces that can be equipped with electric charging stations. Here, electric vehicles can park and be conveniently charged.

Location

Bad Bevensen, the renowned iodine salt spa, is conveniently located within the Hamburg – Bremen – Hanover metropolitan triangle. The gently hilly landscape surrounding the only mineral spa in the Lüneburg Heath is characterized by large forests, small heath areas, and the water-rich nature of the Ilmenau valley.

Bevensen has been a town since 1929, and since 1976 the spa town has been called “Bad” Bevensen. With the discovery of the thermal iodine salt spring in 1968 and the construction of the spa center, a spa quarter with hotels, clinics, and rehabilitation residences developed in the 1970s. A sprawling spa park and pedestrian bridges over the Ilmenau River connect the spa quarter with the old town. The spa center and spa park thus form the link between the “old” district around the Dreikönigskirche and pedestrian zone and the “new” Bad Bevensen with its hotels and guesthouses.

Health

Bad Bevensen has been officially recognized as a mineral spa since 1975. The range of services at the spa town is aimed at people who wish to improve their health and maintain their physical fitness in the calm and forested surroundings. The extensive spa park in the heart of the town forms the starting point for walks, for instance to the nearby Medingen Monastery. The iodine salt thermal bath, with its expansive bathing area, diverse sauna offerings, and the all-accommodating wellness oasis Spa & Vital Center, is the centerpiece of the health services.

Culture

Culture enthusiasts can enjoy the varied program of events at the spa house or the classical music series at Medingen Monastery.

Festivals

Regional festivals such as the pottery market, the city, heath potato, and marksmen’s festival – as well as the LandArt and antique markets that take place every Sunday during the summer months – delight the residents and regularly draw many visitors to the town.

The tasks an outpatient nursing service can undertake are as diverse as the people we care for. Read all about our services and find out how we can assist you and your relatives in everyday life.

1. Emergency Call System

Each tenant receives an emergency call device, which in case of need immediately contacts a central control center staffed day and night. This center provides or arranges help in emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The emergency call system includes the receipt of emergency calls, the initiation of necessary assistance measures, and the maintenance of the tenant’s basic data.

2. Information and Consultation

For questions concerning daily life, available assistance options, and living conditions, tenants have experts available as contacts. Furthermore, assistance is offered with applications for benefits from nursing and health insurance. The appropriate contact person along with their telephone number will be announced by a notice in the building and through an information sheet.

3. Mediation of Services

If required, the care provider also arranges special personal or social assistance or services. These services are not included in the standard offerings and require an additional cost commitment by the tenant.

4. Meeting Places / Community Rooms

All tenants have access to community rooms. By arrangement and, if available, tenants can reserve and use appropriate rooms for special occasions such as birthdays or other celebrations and events. The costs for individual usage are covered as part of the standard services. (Free of charge)

5. Leisure / Health Promotion Programs

The care provider offers participation in regular events of a cultural, informational, and health-promoting nature. These events are generally included in the standard services. In cases where, for example, excursions or special courses require additional fees, these will be clearly indicated and announced in advance.

6. Optional Services

• Coordination or provision of nursing or caregiving services (services under SGB XI/SGB V – provided by third parties, i.e. long-term care insurance / home health care),

• Housekeeping package,

• Service and care package,

• Meal package,

• and a varied lunch menu.
