A sofa corner, dining area, and, if needed, a workspace comfortably share the space. The fitted kitchen joins on openly and is visually separated by beams and a tiled floor – you cook amidst the action without the kitchen dominating the living area.

Beyond the hallway, you reach two additional rooms. The larger, with a window and an extra roof window, is well suited as a bedroom, while the smaller can serve as a children’s, guest, or study room – or vice versa, depending on your needs. From both rooms, you can enjoy views over the old town roofs into the greenery.

You can take care of daily errands on foot: The newly redesigned pedestrian zone on Marktstraße (2024) with bakeries, a pharmacy, a bookstore, specialty shops, and eateries is just a few steps away. The weekly market is held there on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Supermarkets, doctors, kindergartens, and schools up to high school are also available in town.

Connectivity: Marbach is a stop on the S-Bahn line S4 (Backnang – Marbach – Ludwigsburg – Stuttgart). You can reach the station on foot in about ten minutes; from there, you can travel directly to Ludwigsburg and reach Stuttgart’s main station in roughly half an hour. By car, you quickly reach Stuttgart and Heilbronn via the A81 (Pleidelsheim exit). Stuttgart is located approximately 20 km to the south.

Parking: The apartment does not come with its own parking space. As is customary in historic old towns, parking in the narrow lanes is limited; public parking options can be found at the edge of the old town.

Recreation: Marbach is the birthplace of Friedrich Schiller – featuring Schiller’s birthplace in the old town as well as the Schiller National Museum, the Museum of Modern Literature, and the German Literary Archive on Schillerhöhe. Below the old town, the Neckar River flows with its riverside and cycle paths, and the surrounding vineyards are easily accessible.
