Flat to rent 3+1 • 148 m² without real estateGrieskirchen Oberösterreich 4710
Grieskirchen Oberösterreich 4710Lift • ParkingLandschloss Parz is one of the most significant Renaissance castles in Upper Austria and was built in the 16th century.
For our 148 m² apartment on the 1st floor, we are now looking for reliable and quiet tenants for long-term rental. The apartment has been comprehensively and expertly restored and updated with the latest technology. It offers two large, high-ceilinged, light-filled rooms with south-facing windows and a bedroom, also with south-facing windows. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, an illuminated mirror cabinet, a towel radiator, and underfloor heating. The toilet is separate. The spacious kitchen features an induction hob with an oven and plenty of space for a dining table. The apartment includes a locked cellar compartment as well as a parking space.
The apartment is situated in a meticulously maintained castle in a desirable, quiet location. The town center of Grieskirchen, numerous shopping options, a pharmacy, and doctors are within a few minutes’ reach. The transport connections are excellent. The train station is accessible within a few minutes, from where several bus lines run, as well as trains to Vienna via Wels or to Munich via Passau. The motorway to Linz and onward to Vienna is also easily reachable. The Linz-Hörsching airport is only about a 30-minute drive away.
All windows overlook the well-kept Renaissance garden and the apple trees. Access to the apartment is available via an elevator or staircase in the tower on the 1st floor, through the grand arcade corridor.
Many leisure activities such as hiking and biking are practically at your doorstep, and various golf clubs are not far away. In all rooms, restored historic parquet flooring has been installed, and the bathroom features large-format tiles resembling “Rosso di Verona” red marble along with underfloor heating.
The ceilings in the rooms are finished with stucco coving. Particularly splendid are the historic stucco work on the living room ceiling, the decorative tiled stove, and the original room doors dating back to the Baroque period. We heat the property in an environmentally friendly way using local energy – district heating.
The first mention of Schloss Parz dates back to around 1340. In 1514, the country castle was built in its present form. The famous frescoes on the garden façade of Schloss Parz date from around 1580 and are considered, both artistically and iconographically, a masterpiece of Austrian and South German Renaissance art.
Today, the castle offers the highest quality in an exclusive living experience within its historical context.
