For people who love the extraordinary. An architectural gem in a listed ensemble. The steep coast and the beach are only about 200 meters away.

This ensemble was built in 1975. The architect realized a truly special residential dream. Each living unit was designed to offer unobstructed sea views and to have its own garden. In the courtyard, which is shared by the owners’ association, there is a separate building housing the indoor pool with sauna and communal room as well as the modern combined heat and power plant for generating heat and electricity.

You can find a detailed description of the property further down in the exposé (pdf). Everyday shops as well as doctors and pharmacies are within walking distance. By bicycle or on a longer stroll, you can enjoy one of Kiel’s best fish sandwiches at the former Olympic harbor. Also easily accessible by bike is the neighboring Friedrichsort. According to a survey by “Kieler Nachrichten,” it boasts Kiel’s best baker and, in our opinion, the tastiest ice cream. Additionally, there are several retail shops and the Saturday market.

Schilksee has an elementary school along with various sports clubs. Public transportation is well developed with direct bus lines to Kiel. A rather unusual means of transport is the ferry that crosses from Schilksee and Friedrichsort straight over the fjord to the city center. The center is also conveniently reachable by car via the high bridge.

The building’s technical installations and bathrooms are still in their original condition. The bathrooms are by no means outdated. So if you appreciate the charm of the 70s, you’ve come to the right place!
