The location is especially interesting for female students of the University of Medicine in Lübeck: the university is only just under 3 km away and easily reachable by bicycle or bus.

At the same time, the surrounding area offers plenty of nature and relaxation: Groß Grönau is situated in a forested area, close to the Wakenitz River and Ratzeburg Lake. Walks, cycling, water sports, and other leisure activities are available right at your doorstep or in the immediate vicinity.
