The house was built in 1975 as a holiday home with solid construction and a cellar. In 2000, a conservatory was added, and in 2005 an extension was built which resulted in a complete reconfiguration of the rooms. In 2012, a dormer was added and the roof section originally built in 1975 was renovated. Since 2006, a tiled stove has provided a cozy atmosphere in the living room.

The double carport was built in 2000. Behind it, there is a large wood storage area and an aviary. On the other side of the house, under the roof, there is a shed and a bicycle storage room. In front of the conservatory, there is a small pond, and further back in the garden there is a spacious shed/workshop and two small greenhouses. The garden features deciduous and fruit trees as well as plenty of space for playing or keeping small animals.

Our little idyll is located in a holiday home development at the end of a cul-de-sac in the resort village of Güster. With good access to the A24 motorway, Hamburg can be reached quickly. Situated between Büchen and Mölln, from Güster all the amenities for daily needs, healthcare, schools, etc. are available within a 10 km radius. There is a local Edeka market with Sunday opening hours as well as farm shops offering products directly from regional farmers. A kindergarten, an active sports club, a library, and restaurants are within walking distance.

Güster is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling, and thanks to the Prüßsee with its connection to the Elbe-Lübek Canal, it is also very attractive for water sports enthusiasts.

Inside the house, there is a full bathroom and an additional two toilets (in the cellar and on the upper floor). The ground floor is largely equipped with underfloor heating. On the upper floor, the covered balcony offers a beautiful view of the garden. The gas heating system is a condensing boiler which, despite its age, performs very well with every service. Hot water is produced locally. In the living room, beech parquet flooring was used. The full bathroom, the kitchen, the hallway, and the conservatory are tiled. The staircase to the upper floor is made of wood, and upstairs, laminate and carpet flooring have been installed.

In the cellar there is a utility room, two additional rooms that we have used as bedrooms, and a workshop/storage room. A fiber optic connection is available.
