Additional parking spaces are also available in front of the building.
Located in a brick new construction in the sought-after area of the northern part of Prague 8, Beranov – Dolní Chabry, the apartment is on the ground floor and is suitable for wheelchair users – including a wider parking space in the underground garages.
By the beginning of September it will be partially furnished with a fully equipped modern kitchen and wardrobes in both the bedroom and the entrance hall, complete with a shoe cabinet. (See the visualizations in the photographs – everything has already been ordered.) It features a practical layout, is east-oriented so it doesn’t overheat, and the garden enjoys sunlight until 2:00 p.m.
A trip by public transport to central Prague takes up to 20 minutes. A bus stop with many lines – including night buses – is just a 2-minute walk away, while the terminal for trams nos. 17, 24, and 90 is a 5-minute walk away. It is also just a 5-minute bus ride to Metro Line C at Kobylisy station and only 3 to 5 minutes by car to reach the highway.
Right behind a nearby kindergarten, you’ll find a grocery store (even an evening shop), a wine shop, a restaurant, a fitness center, and a pleasant small square with benches and a water feature.
In the inner part of the new Beranov development there is a small park, several children’s playgrounds, and a bike path leading to the older part of Dolní Chabry. A renovated elementary school is also located here – about 10 minutes away from Úvoz, with many other schoolchildren in the area.
The local square hosts a variety of cultural events – exhibitions, theater, Masopust (carnival), the raising of the maypole – and there are also doctors’ offices, a pastry shop, a hairdresser, pubs, restaurants, the oldest church in Prague, a farm offering healthy, excellent cuisine along with an annual pumpkin-carving event. There are also horseback riding excursions, ice skating, a renowned pub offering fish snacks and selling fresh fish. It’s just a 2-minute drive to Billa, 10 minutes to Letňany Shopping Center, and Penny is almost around the corner.
To the south of Nové Chabry you’ll find Bauhaus, a pizzeria, while in Ďáblický háj there is an observatory, a playground, and even the possibility to make a small fire to roast sausages. To the west, you have the Draháň Valley, rock formations over the Vltava River, the Botanical Garden, the Zoological Garden, a path along the Vltava with small ferries, and many beautiful spots for day trips. Tennis courts are also nearby, and a golf course at the edge of Dolní Chabry will soon be completed.
