Heating system from 2018 (hybrid heating)
The heating consists of an oil condensing boiler from Vaillant, while the domestic hot water is supplied by a heat pump supported by an additional 4 m² solar thermal collector (three additional collectors are available and can be installed later; a latent storage with an electric heating element for the solar thermal system— or as a heat pump storage—has also been prepared). Currently, the extension’s ground floor and first floor are heated with the oil central heating system, whereas the old building is heated partly by a fireplace stove and partly by electric stoves. The consumption values of the heating and the hot/cold water supplies are measured by separate meters / energy meters for each apartment.
A new main water line and an additional gas connection are already installed in the building, as is a conduit for the upcoming fiber optic expansion, which has been laid to the curb edge.
Electrical panels were updated in 1993 with new digital meters for each apartment and for the separate general electricity meter.
In the old building, the flooring, heating, and drinking water pipes still need to be partially renewed. Since most of the pipe installations in the basement have been covered with plaster, replacing them is relatively straightforward without having to break through large walls.
