Approximately 23.9 km and 25 minutes by car away lies the town of Frankenberg in the district of Mittelsachsen, situated within the Saxon granitic mountain region, in the foothills of the Ore Mountains in the Zschopau Valley, and surrounded by numerous mixed forests such as the Lützeltal, the Striegistal, or the beech forest.

To the west of the town’s edge flows the Zschopau, and the Mühlbach runs through the district bearing the same name as well as through the town center.

Frankenberg gained special economic importance through the cigar-making craft and the automotive industry, notably through Marko Framo (Frankenberger Motorenwerke), which produced there between 1923 and 1933.

The town’s landmark is the Evangelical Lutheran Church St. Aegidien, whose tower is already visible from the highway. The lower part of the tower was constructed as early as 1499 and has been preserved to this day. The largest green area near the town center is Friedenspark, which was created from a decommissioned cemetery around 1890/1891.

Approximately 4 kilometers from the town center is the municipality of Dittersbach, which, together with its district Neudörfchen, forms the Frankenberg district of Dittersbach. The Lützelbach flows through the town, joining the Zschopau south of Sachsenburg. North of Dittersbach, Federal Highway 169 and the Autobahn 4 run by, which can be reached in just a few minutes by car, providing excellent transport connections to the surrounding cities.

The two advertised one-room apartments are located on the first floor of the multi-family house and offer approximately 26 m² of living space, featuring a bright living/dining/bedroom area with an adjoining kitchenette and a daylight bathroom with a shower.
